Tears of a Tiger by Sharon Draper is, by far, one of the best young adult books I have read in years. My entire homeroom was stunned when they realized the book made me cry. "It was that good Mrs. _?" A high school senior and three of his friends head out after a basketball with a few beers in their bellies. One of the boys does not come home. Andrew Washington spends the rest of the novel attempting to cope with his guilt. This is one gripping read best left to strong of heart.
